"Quick search" finds titles that starts with the initial letter you type. For example, if you type 'fred' it will only look for titles beginning on the letter 'f' and contains 'fred' anywhere in the title.
"Full search" takes longer time since it has to go through the enitre database, it doesn't care for initial letter and will return the titles containing your query wherever in the title your query is located.
(In either search, you cannot use wildcards like * or ?)
